Your Hosts

Dr Susannah Ward is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician based in Newcastle, NSW. She is Chair of the RACP Member Health & Wellbeing Committee and a passionate advocate for the wellbeing of doctors. Susannah has served on the RACP Board as a trainee director and held leadership roles in both the College Trainee Committee and the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine.

With a strong interest in holistic health, behavioural rehabilitation, and evidence-based lifestyle medicine, Susannah integrates mindfulness, nutrition, movement, and psychological tools into her clinical care. She is a qualified yoga and mindfulness teacher and founder of Ataraxia Collective, a project dedicated to doctor wellbeing and sustainable CPD. She also sits on the board of Mood Active, supporting exercise-based interventions for mental health.

Dr Sarah Dalton is a senior Paediatric Emergency Physician at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the immediate past President of the Paediatrics and Child Health Division of the RACP. With over 25 years’ experience in clinical and executive leadership roles across NSW Health — including rural, regional, and tertiary settings — Sarah brings a deep understanding of systems, teams, and the challenges facing medical professionals.

A Fulbright Scholar in Clinical Leadership, Sarah is an INSEAD-certified executive coach. She offers performance, leadership and wellbeing coaching to healthcare professionals, with a particular focus on enabling individuals to unlock their own solutions through reflective practice. Sarah is a sought-after mentor and facilitator known for her clarity, compassion and ability to guide deep professional insight.

Together, Susannah and Sarah bring a wealth of clinical, academic and leadership experience — alongside a shared commitment to creating safe, nurturing spaces for personal and professional growth. You will be in expert hands.
